My Alsatian-self Violet making another apperance; in this one, she's surrounded by smoke (or fog, whichever you prefer), being hunted down by monsters. I believe monsters are real - not unicorns, dragons, faries and all that crap. But the way I see monsters are those kinds of people who just ... whatever your version of a "bad" person is, that's my monster, lol. And Violet is being defensive here because she sees herself as being absolutely one hundred percent indestructable, but she's being defensive without resulting to aggression - I feel that it makes the whole image more powerful. One hand has a pen shoved clean through it thanks to the insperation from Stephen King's novel "The Dark Half". I don't know why the eyes are glowing orange, either. I OWN THAT OUTFIT. Hell yeah. Flag on Violet's glove states that I'm British. Come at me, bro. Violet and art are copyright to me, .
They really were. Sometimes, I like to draw eyes without having to worry about if everything is even or not, you know? Like, the rest of the facial structure and everytihng. <3
Drawing eyes is fun - especially as they are so pretty <3 and yeah I know what you mean :] Alot of my portraits I have drawn recently for college all have one eye as I can never make them look even! Lol
This caught my eye as soon as I saw the thunbnail! <33
The colours are so vibrant. Especially the eyes, even if you don't know why you put it there, it fits so well in a way I can't describe. <3 You have such an interesting and unique style. It's just great, honestly. I read some of "The Dark Half" a few years ago, but I don't think I finished it.
Keep it up. <333 The hands look awesome, too. Very dangerous air to them. <3 Love it.
<3 Oh my gosh! Thank-you so much! You've supported me wholeheartedly for years now, doll, and I'm just always amazed by your comments. Thank-you so much for all your kind words - I do really appreciate them! It's a good book, but a little ... slow in places. The ending though - Lord, I cried bucketloads, lol!
And weird...I just watched the Dark Half movie a few days ago, and I think I'd be doing the story shame by not reading the book!
Her body language portrays EXACTLY what the description says. It's passive, but still strong (I guess like a concrete wall!) And I love the monster concept. It's really legit, if you will. The hand palm out next to Violet's face is awesome. It's so very malevolent!
I was not prepared for this comment at all. You've really made my day.
I had NO IDEA that The Dark Half had a movie to correspond with the book! Dang. I feel silly now, haha. The book is amazing.
I just ... have no words to say how happy this made me. But thank-you so much for everything you said here. <3 I really appreciate it. And, yay for monsters! Hahaha. I always find the concept behind monsters, or any ideas involving them, to be so very interesting.

The same goes for you! <3 You've been an amazing friend and supporter of mine, as well. I'm so glad we're friends! <333
Oh, one of those. xD Yeah, I love hard hitting endings, they're great.
It's my pleasure! <3
